Greg & Debbie Hack Wedding 10 February 2011 Plettenberg Bay

Dvi was proud to be a part of the wedding of Greg and Debbie Hack on the 10th Feb 2011 which was held in Plettenberg Bay. The wedding was really awesome and we captured some really magic moments. We shot the wedding with 2 High Def Cameras and an SLR for the creative day after shoot with the final product to Blu Ray. Photography was taken by Greg ” Machine Gun” Mulford. The wedding of Collette & Mike

The wedding of Collette & Mike was a once in a lifetime experience. The wedding ceremony took place in Java Camp in Timbavati in the Kruger National Park. With no fences I captured the ceremony and the wedding ” in the wild” and I filmed some amazing footage. I filmed with 1 camera in High Def and output the final product to Blu Ray. The footage I shot was mind blowing as I managed to film a leopard chasing a warthog and captured the 85 kg Argile Male walking past our car with Patrick Furter the photographer and I with ” frikkadel Broek” as we had both been walking outside our car 2 minutes before the attack. Amazing footage in an equally amazing setting. Thank you Mike and Collette for letting me be part of this special day. Check out the 4 min teaser!

Toni & Howard Wedding Ponte de Auro Mozambique

This was one of our favourite weddings. Not only because Toni and Howard are good friends but the whole atmosphere of shooting the function on the beach at Kaya Kweru in Ponte Mozambique, it was just amazing! We shot with 2 High Def Cameras and a SLR for the creative shoot. The footage was really amazing and the wedding was just “out of the top draw”. Wedding of Justine & Bevan

With Justine and Bevan’s wedding DVD we utilised a very funky editing technique. As Bevan is a Film Editor he requested that we edit with hard cuts and “on the beat” editing to make this cutting edge. We filmed with 1 Standard def camera at the Cedar Square shopping centre and the function was at Buitengeluk Wedding Venue. Michael Tree took the stills and all in all a fantastic wedding. Jeugland Revue ” Celebration” 2010

Hoerskool Jeugland turned 40 years old this year and DVI was there, once again to film and edit their 2010 Revue entitled “Celebration”.It definitely was a celebration with Jeugland as always giving an exceptional performance under the talented direction of Reta Smit.

DVI utilised 5 Cameras to try to get as many angles and as many learners in the production as possible. All in all the footage was amazing , here are 2 snippets to view. Gelukkige 40 jaar Jeugland!

Hoerskool Jeugland Revue “L’Amour Est La Vie” 2009

Digital Video Images Filmed Jeugland’s Revue ” L’Amour Est La Vie” 2009 on Saturday 15th August 2009. DVI Filmed with 4 cameras for the duration of the production and the results were amazing. If you look at the insert of one of the items” Cry For You” it is hard to believe that this production was performed by pupils in high school. It looks like it was taken at the Sun City Superbowl and is equivalent of the talent of the Sun City Extravaganza.

The production was directed by the talented Retha Smit of Jeugland Hoerskool in Kempton Park. Choreography was undertaken by Stefanie Smit, Julie Ruthven and Erika Van der Merwe. The sound and lighting was professionally handled by Shirja Productions. DVI used 4 Standard Definition cameras to film the production as it required low light in some of the scenes. Rob Turner owner of Digital Video Images said ” it was not necessary to utilise High Definition Cameras for this production as there were some low light scenes and the final product was going to be edited to Standard definition anyway, so it made sense to keep the file sizes smaller which would make it easier to edit on Final Cut Pro.

With 4 camera angles and 1 static camera at the back of the stage the production was covered really well with some really fantastic footage.
